THE LOCATION
The apartment is located in a peaceful and secure gated golf resort just outside Sotogrande towards Gibralter, situated in the heart of one of Spain’s finest nature reserves where the cork forests meet the Mediterranean Sea. Although there are many first class attractions available this is a beautiful less developed area of Spain. A perfect location for many golf courses and beaches.

The San Roque Golf Resort offer five star facilities including two championship golf courses (Spanish Open), equestrian centre, tennis, private beach club and superb restaurants.

Malaga airport is approx one hour to the north and Gibralter airport is approx 20 minutes to the south.

It is recommended that car hire is booked in advance to your visit and that you get written confirmation of your booking, together with terms and conditions and insurance details.

BEACHES
There are many excellent beaches all along the coast.

Torrequardio is a Spanish town about 10 minutes away and has an excellent sandy beach, together with Sotogrande Polo Club.
Duquesa also has a very long sandy beach and access to a beachside park.

Further round the coast is Tarifa which offers excellent windsurfing.

Video Tours

San Roque town is 3 miles away from the resort and offers a bull ring, museum, weekly market, good restaurants and a casino
Gibralter is 20 minutes drive away and you can enter either by car or on foot to explore the British colony. Tax free shopping is also an attraction.

Sotogrande offers a wide range of sailing, water sports, golf, polo and excellent restaurants by the marina from where you can see Africa.

Duquesa is a busy port and marina, together with a wide range of restaurants, bars and discos.

Puerto Banus is further north up the coast, approx 20 minutes drive and is the chic place to visit. There are many excellent restaurants, late bars and fashion shops alongside the marina.

Africa is also within easy reach and regular day trips by boat are available.

GOLF
There are many golf courses available for every standard of golf including the two golf courses at the resort itself where the 2005 and 2006 Spanish Open was held. Please enquire direct at San Roque Golf for further information. Next door is the famous Valderrama Golf Course
